I am an avid reader, prolific journal writer, fervent follower and speaker of Jesus, loyal wife to Bill Meiter, mother of 3 (monsters) and Soul Friend to many. My passion is to inspire women to seek Jesus first and serve Him with wholehearted devotion. I believe spiritual growth happens in community, iron sharpens iron, and we all still have a lot to learn.

Modern Homemakers – Associate Director
October 2016 – Jodi has joined the staff of Modern Homemakers. As a colleague of Donna Otto, she will do some teaching and co-teaching at the local Modern Homemakers class held at Valley View Bible Church in Paradise Valley, AZ.
Jodi will also be podcasting regularly on Modern Homemakers. As Associate Director, she will oversee marketing, ministry volunteers, special events, and social media.

Jodi Meiter has been studying spiritual formation for over 20 years. She was a Christian Education major at Biola University, and received her Masters in Practical Theology from Talbot Seminary. Jodi is a pastor’s wife, mom to three children, and friend to many.
Jodi grew up in a Christian home and began to know and love Jesus at a young age. She gave her life to Christ as a child, recommitting her life at age 13. Early in high school, she sensed God’s call on her life to be in full-time Christian ministry. As far back as she can remember, she always wanted to marry a pastor. Through the journey of ministering at 3 churches in the past 20 years, Jodi has gained a wealth of knowledge and experience related to shepherding souls. Friendships with women in the church and the world have been of utmost importance in Jodi’s life. She has invested countless resources in discipleship and mentoring women. Her passion is to see others seek Jesus first and find Him to be everything they need; their hope, their love, their passion, their purpose, and their greatest joy!
Jodi Meiter founded Soul Friend ministry in 2014. She speaks to women’s Bible studies, church Sunday School classes and Women’s retreats and is currently developing Soul Friend workshops that will coincide with her upcoming book, Soul Friend.
